The Heartbeat of Lakewood Volume 24 Issue 06

Volume 24, Issue 06 of the Heartbeat of Lakewood is now available, and it’s a good one! Inside, one of our Lakewood coaches won an award, news on our after school soccer programs, a player spotlight, updates for the Just Kick-It Cup tournament this weekend, some spring safety tips, and so much more! 

 

If you can’t wait, two important things to know!  

 

First, the schedule for the Lakewood After School Soccer program has been updated. With all of the rain, yesterday was the first day and there were over 40 kids in Wildwood Park. Today, there were over 30! This is the first time Lakewood (or any soccer zone in Saskatoon) has offered this, so please take advantage of it. It’s free and you don't have to be a Lakewood player to attend (so bring some friends).

 

Second, this season is Lakewood’s 30th Anniversary. To mark it, we will have an anniversary fun day in the park on Saturday May 25. After training, kids and their families are invited to stick around and have some snacks and drinks. Can someone bring a cake for 500 people? Kidding, but not really:)
