About Us

LOCATION: Lakewood Soccer Association organizes youth soccer in Zone 4 as defined in the Bylaws of Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc.
Zone 4 is the area east of Preston Avenue between Circle Drive South and 8th Street, plus the area north of 8th Street, east of McKercher Drive, and south of College Drive. 
Note: Stonebridge and South Corman Park west of Highway 11 to the South Saskatchewan River are NOT part of Lakewood.

PHILOSOPHY: To create a fun environment where players learn the game of soccer, and develop with character, attitude and desire.

MISSION STATEMENT: The technical staff of Lakewood soccer is committed to providing a quality soccer program of both player and coach development. They are responsible for providing leadership in the technical direction of the club. The emphasis is on the development of fundamental skills, recognizing that winning is important but having fun and long-term player development as priority. They will strive to provide effective, consistent instruction to the players and coaches of the zone, recognizing that player development programs will never function effectively without coaching development programs implemented at the club level.
