Lakewood Soccer Association recognizes that Coaches, Asst. Coaches and Managers are volunteers who kindly give their time to make soccer an enjoyable and fun sport while helping kids develop as soccer players and to become responsible members of the community. The Lakewood Soccer Association realizes that being a coach, asst. coach or manager may be scary for people unfamilar with soccer and supports the development of coaches and managers via the following activities or programs: - 100% reimbursement of fees for officially recognized coaching clinics/certification Gus, with the assistance of the Lakewood Technical Coordinator and other volunteers host coaching clinics at the start of each season and has time scheduled each month to run technical practices with coaches/teams. These technical practices are great opportunties for coaches to book a time with Gus to aid in their development as coaches as well as providing additional development opportunities for the kids. The kids love attending Gus's practices! Thank you for volunteering as a coach in Lakewood Soccer. Our success depends on your commitment to the development of youth soccer in our zone. Please remember, the more effort you put into your developmen as a coach, the more fun you and the kids you coach will have! COACHING EVALUATIONS Parents and players, please take a moment to complete and return the downloadable coaching evaluation form. We really appreciate your feedback on your son or daughter's current coach when making decisions about coaching assignments for future seasons. COACHING CLINICS For information about coaching clinics, please contact our Technical Head Coach Gustavo Medrano by email at headcoach@lakewoodsoccer.com. |
